Meet the Office Staff
Nicole Amaral graduated from Queensborough Community College majoring in Office Administration and Technology in 2021. Nicole began working at the Kidz Lounge in 2021 as a front desk receptionist. Outside of work Nicole enjoys spending time with her family.
Patricia Kistner has been our office manager since 2021, a position in which she feels right at home since her first job as secretary working for her dad's foot doctor at 17.
Her love of working with children began when she was in 7th grade and completed her service hours by helping out with the kindergarten class in her school. Since then she has been a volunteer religion teacher and most recently the Director for Religious Education at her parish church.
Patricia also loves to sing, a passion which began in her church choir in the second grade. After majoring in music in college, she became a cantor/leader of song for the Diocese of Brooklyn, a ministry and job she still enjoys.
After being introduced to all the wonderful therapists in our practice, Patricia has decided to begin a new chapter in her life by returning to school to become an occupational therapist.
The Kidz Lounge Related Services, LLC strives to assist children in reaching their full potential! We are dedicated to enriching the lives of children and their families by being a beacon of hope for those struggling with learning, communication, feeding, sensory, gross and fine motor challenges. We are aware of the limitations that surround all children in their day to day lives. We strive to help children overcome those barriers through a multidisciplinary approach. We emphasize ability over disability. Just as every child is unique so are our therapeutic approaches. A holistic philosophy is practiced to provide the highest standard of services for the families we are dedicated to serving. We provide a nurturing, family and child-centered therapeutic environment that is sensitive to the needs of the individuals we assist.
